Art of the World Gallery brings the world together in its first ever collective exhibition

HOUSTON — Art of the World Gallery – Houston’s leading gallery of modern and contemporary art – is pleased to present ART: The Fifth Element. An exhibition of the gallery’s exceptional and master artists, ART: The Fifth Element will be Art of the World Gallery’s first collective exhibition. The exhibition will debut Friday, May 25 at 10:00 AM.

Featuring works from the likes of Fernando Botero, Robert Indiana, Julio Larraz, Carole Feuerman, Oswaldo Vigas, Mr. Brainwash, Javier Marín, Jorge Jiménez Deredia, Gustavo Vélez, Carlos Luna, Sophia Vari, Park Eun Sun, and Oscar Saborio, this exhibition will showcase some of the finest modern and contemporary paintings, sculptures, collages and mixed media to be found anywhere nationwide. It will be an experience full of emotion, coaxing interpretation and artistic discussion.

ART: The Fifth Element displays the breadth and tangible interpretation of modern and contemporary art. From the very personal sculptures of Carole Feuerman that hark back to a disrupted childhood to the ethereal yet temporal sculptures of Jiménez Deredia to the – literal – nail-scraped paintings of Oscar Saborio, the concept of art becomes as concrete – and essential – to the human existence as earth, air, wind, and fire. Art has been around for millennia, capturing and representing the human experience. Art of the World Gallery’s exhibition presents that experience on a global basis.

The Gallery’s roster of leading master artists is as diverse as the city in which it is located. With nearly twenty artists from four continents – and more on the way – Art of the World Gallery brings to visitors and collectors a world-class assortment of exceptional works with unquestionable provenances. With direct and personal relationships and friendships with the represented artists, proprietors Mauricio Vallejo and Liliana Molina offer visitors and collectors through Art of the World Gallery and ART: The Fifth Element an honest and nuanced approach to modern and contemporary art.
